Private Tutoring

For those who want to learn French or Spanish from scratch, who have a specific learning need, who want to boost grades or who simply understand specific grammatical concept, our private tuition or conversation classes are perfect.

Private tuition is available to students from all academic areas, primary, secondary, further and degree level. Tuition can be delivered on an individual or small group basis (maximum 3 people) at the tutor’s or individual’s home (within a 10 mile radius of Cramlington).

Private tuition is not just for those looking for support to academic learning (GCSE, A-Level or degree), but is also perfect for business learners or those looking for personal development for leisure or hobby purposes.

All lessons are highly personalised and the format and materials used will be discussed with you after an initial consultation to ensure that we can support you to reach your learning goal.

Our classes are as relaxed as you want them to be. Tea and coffee (or something a little stronger if you prefer!) is always on offer. Sessions focus on grammar and applying language in context reflecting current affairs, cultural events or personal interests and the content can be tailored to the interests of the individual or group.

While we do not offer formal qualifications in-house, we are able to support you in preparation from scratch or with pre-exam revision for many of the common official language exams including GCSE and A-Level (AQA and Edexcel), Degree, DELF (A1-B2) and DELE (A1-B2).

We have a 100% pass record for all formal qualifications. With all students achieving (and many exceeding) their target grades or expectations.

Learning a language at an early age helps children in many ways, not only does it give them a skill that lasts a lifetime, but it can help them develop academically and socially. At LLNE we know how important this is to parents but we also appreciate that the most important thing to you is that your children are happy and have fun. We make it our mission to enthuse children about French and Spanish so that they not only enjoy their lessons, but also develop a passion which they will carry forward as they grow up.

All the material we develop for our children’s sessions are relevant to them and their interests. We source materials from France and Spain, but also adapt materials that they will be familiar with to help them engage with it. Through songs, crafts, cooking, games and play they learn in a natural way without even realising it!

For your peace of mind we hold full Criminal Record (DBS) checks, Level 2 Food Hygiene and Safety and are also trained in Emergency and Paediatric First aid.
